 The talented Genevieve Nnaji is back in action after five long years since her awesome Netflix hit, Lionheart (2018). This time, she’s back as the big boss, working her magic as an executive producer for a movie called “I Do Not Come To You By Chance.”

This new movie is based on a famous book written by Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani. It’s a gripping story that dives into the risky world of Nigerian email scams. Imagine that! 

The story is about a young guy with the weight of the world on his shoulders. He’s on a mission to rescue his family from poverty and let me tell you, he goes to some wild lengths to make it happen.

This book rocked the literary world, winning awards left and right. It scored the 2010 Commonwealth Writers Prize for Best First Book (Africa) and even the 2010 Betty Trask First Book Award. 

The Washington Post gave it a high-five by naming it one of the Best Books of the Year.

Hold onto your seats because Genevieve Nnaji isn’t alone in this adventure. She’s teamed up with Chinny Carter to make the movie magic happen.

You’ve got the amazing Blossom Chukwujekwu and a fresh face, Paul Nnadiekwe, stepping onto the scene.

Pete Edochie speaks on divorce rate in Nollywood

In another news, Veteran actor Pete Edochie has expressed concern about the rising divorce rate in the film industry.

 In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Pete revealed his surprise upon learning about Chioma Akpotha’s separation from her husband. 

He also pointed to divorced actresses like Ireti Doyle and Tonto Dikeh, emphasizing the importance of commitment in marriage despite challenges.
