Napoli’s new coach
Napoli had a new coach, Garcia, for this game, as their previous coach, Luciano Spalletti, became Italy’s coach.
Some important players like Kim Min-Jae and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia were absent from the squad. Their absence seemed to affect Napoli’s performance, as they had a difficult start.
Osimhen Loyalty
Despite receiving a tempting offer from Al-Hilal, Osimhen chose to stay with Napoli this season. In a recent match, he scored two goals, securing a victory for Napoli under their new manager, Rudi Garcia.
Frosinone took an early lead through a penalty, but Napoli managed to equalise with a goal from Matteo Politano.
Napoli thought they had taken the lead again with a goal from Giacomo Raspodori, assisted by Osimhen, but it was disallowed due to an offside. Nonetheless, Osimhen soon scored another goal, giving Napoli the lead once more.
