An abroad-based Nigerian has shaken the internet after he asserted that a woman is a failure if her husband doesn’t gain weight after marrying her.
The man identified as Austin Deko made this declaration on Facebook as he asserted that a wife has failed if her husband does not get fat after a few years of tieing the knot with her.
According to him, after four or five years of a couple’s marriage, the wife should have made sure the husband got fatter as compared to when they married.

“You have failed as a woman if your husband didn’t gain weight after 4 to 5 years he married you,” he mentioned.
Reactions: Not only weight but financially too
The man’s statement had many netizens nodding their head in agreement. While some agreed with his words and added that a man not just grows in weight but also in other positive things, others disagreed as they stated that some men are just naturally slim. See some comments below;

Man blasts husband to cook for their wives
In another news, a Nigerian man brought to the table a controversial topic that many men will disagree with, as he questions why a man can not cook if his wife is unavailable.
According to a man identified as Chike Okonkwo, married men should not exert dominance when it comes to cooking if their wives are not around or indisposed.
He stressed how it made no sense to wait for a wife who went to work just like he did, and expect her to cook. He gave an exemplary situation of his statement by explaining that if a man comes early from his place of work later than his wife, there is nothing stopping him from being the chef of the day.
