The former Chelsea star was featured in a video clip for the France FA, where he discussed the upcoming event.
Fans are eagerly anticipating Lionel Messi making history by becoming the only player in the history of football to claim 8 Ballon d’Or trophies.
If this were to happen, it would also mark the first time in the history of the award that a player playing outside Europe would receive this coveted honor.
Premier League icon Didier Drogba will be in France this week. He has been announced as the presenter for the evening, and the Ivorian icon is set to bestow the cherished title upon the winner. Journalist Fabrizio Romano shared a post on X, along with a clip of Drogba discussing the upcoming event.
