The spokesperson and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has pledged and reassured his followers that he is ready to pursue the actualisation of the Biafra Republic to the logical conclusion.
Nnamdi Kanu made these vows while in detention of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Abuja due to being accused of treason.
Kanu, who is being tried in court and still held down for further investigation, delivered his statement through his personal lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, on his Twitter account.

Additionally, the detained Biafran warlord deeply appreciated the abiding solidarity of the people of Biafra and the IPOB against his illegal detention and reassured them that he would pursue the Biafra cause to a logical conclusion and that it is non-negotiable.
Meanwhile, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, the younger brother to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, revealed that Kanu’s medical team is at Abuja. The team is reported to have come for the emergency ear surgery recommended by the Department of State Services, DSS, medical unit.
He further said that the team was awaiting permission from the DSS to access the IPOB Leader to properly examine him.

Breaking: Appeal Court Frees IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu
Meanwhile, The Court of Appeal in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, on Thursday, upheld the appeal of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra.
The court also discharged and acquitted the proscribed group’s leader.
Kanu had asked to be discharged and acquitted in his appeal dated April 29 and marked CA/ABJ/CR/625/2022. Kanu was arrested on December 23, 2015, and granted bail on April 25, 2017.
