Ahead of the general elections on Saturday, new data has revealed that Peter Obi’s Labour Party is leading other major parties with over 230,000 Polling Unit Agents.
The photo of the Data which trended on social media shows that Labour Party has exactly 230,917 polling units while the All Progressive Congress has 176,223, People’s Democratic party also has 176, 588 agents.
It should be noted that Labour party has the highest number due to the fact that ADC collapsed their structure into LP to bolster its chances of winning.
Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra state, is the flagbearer of LP who is hoping to turn Nigeria’s plunge from a fully dependent country to a fairly independent one.
Atiku Abubakar who is also from the opposition party PDP and former vice president is hoping to succeed President Buhari, a Northerner like him.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu is also on the ballot with the rhetoric “Emilokan” which means “It is my Turn”. A subtle reference to the message that after helping Buhari clinch the seat it is now his turn to also taste the highest power in Nigerian government.
