A week ago, Nollywood actor Olarenwaju James aka Baba Ijesha was arrested by the police in Lagos for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl.
The command spokesperson CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in a statement on Thursday 22nd April said the 48-year-old actor was arrested after the case was reported at Sabo police station by one princess adekola on April 19.
The case was transferred to the Gender Unit of the State CID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos for proper investigation.
The suspect confessed to the crime and was also captured by CCTV camera in the house of the complainant, he said.
