Akin Olaoye, a popular Sunglasses vendor, posted on his Twitter page asking people to support Qudus, if they have an event to host.
Netizens concluded that what Akin did was wrong because he is a die-hard fan of Peter Obi, while Qudus is a full supporter of the APC party and also a bigot.
Akin tried to defend his act by emphasizing the fact that we should prioritize being human before getting caught up in politics.

Akin supports a bigot
One of his fans tried to explain to him that Politics is not a game but our lives, it either saves or kills us.
He still kept on defending himself, by asking what he should do to his employees who strongly support either the All Progressives Congress (APC) or the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
He further explained that although people say there is a life after politics, we should always remember that we are humans with emotions.
Akin concluded by saying that we should always spread love and not hate and declared his strong support for Peter Obi
Reactions: I’m highly disappointed in you
Netizens were furious with what he posted and felt he was supporting a bigot, here are a few:
@NelOsuji: Akin Qudus wasn’t just an APC supporter, this dude used to his platform to push bigotry unashamedly and unapologetically, it’s not the same thing Abeg, this one no follow abeg 🙏🏾
@Ben_Bisa: At this point we can only cry to God to save us through the Judiciary, Otherwise the bondage for many will last their entire lifetime. PS: My concern is for the poor! People need not suffer like Nigerians suffer.
@EagleSquare101: I’m highly disappointed in you @akintollgate . I don’t just want to admit what my mind is telling me about you right now.
@emekabk21: Support a social media bandit ? Why not ask us to support Osisikankwu too The guy is ev111l
@cp_biomed: Akin elections have consequences…. Especially bigotry ridden elections where PEOPLE were maimed, disenfranchised, scarred for life or killed. QUDUS MUST COME TO THAT REALISATION… and telling people whose relatives have been killed to let it go would not help that process… NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE!
