Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Attahiru Ibrahim dies in an air crash that occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport.

Attahiru was appointed in January 26, 2021

Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, Director of Public Relations and Information confirmed that, “An air crash involving a @NigAirForce aircraft occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport.”

The immediate cause of the crash is still being ascertained, he said.
