Movie lovers across Nigeria will have another opportunity to see films on the big screen at a reduced price as Nigeria Cinema Day returns on September 26, 2026.
Participating cinemas will offer movie tickets for ₦3,000 throughout the day, giving film enthusiasts the chance to watch movies at a lower price than regular ticket rates.
Nigeria Cinema Day was introduced in 2023 by the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) to make cinema more accessible and encourage Nigerians to experience films on the big screen.
The initiative has since become an annual event, with cinemas across the country taking part and offering discounted tickets to moviegoers.
This year’s edition will take place on Saturday, September 26.
If you haven’t been able to see some of the latest movies because of regular cinema ticket prices, this could be your chance to catch up.
Bring your family, friend, or partner and see as many movies as you can that day. Make sure to check with your preferred cinemas for available movies, showtimes and booking details ahead of that day.
