Reno Omokri, former media aide, has called on Nigerians to refrain from prematurely judging individuals’ guilt or innocence in the death of Mohbad.
Recall that the Lagos State Police Force recently commenced investigation into the death of popular Nigerian musician, Mohbad.

However, various theories have surfaced online regarding the circumstances surrounding his death. Some individuals have pointed fingers at Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry, as potential culprits.
In light of this, Reno Omokri took to Twitter and advised Nigerians to exercise patience and await the conclusion of the police investigation.
He wrote, “It is quite possible that Naira Marley and his associates are the monsters people are making them out to be. And it is also a possibility that some of those making these allegations are using this opportunity to revive their careers and or settle old scores with him. We do not know.
“That is why there is going to be an investigation. And pending the outcome of that investigation, let us resist the urge to convict people who may or may not be innocent in the court of social media. Let’s give the police and law enforcement agencies the benefit of the doubt. And then let us take punitive actions in law and society when we have certainty.”
