Hazel Oyeye Onou, popularly known as White Money, who emerged as the winner of Season 6 Big Brother Naija Reality Tv Show, Shine Ya Eye, last week, has revealed that his success story is tied to his name given to him by the holy spirit before becoming BBNaija housemates.
He made this known on Thursday to news men.
White Money explained that the name White Money, has been a house hold name after the holy spirit gave him the name in a sleep.”I prayed for a name years ago, I have answered different kinds of name that I don’t like. So I prayed for a name and told God I want a name that would standout and I slept and woke up, I didn’t have a dream, I just woke up with the word White Money but I didn’t know if that was going to be my name or anything but that White Money was what was on my mouth,” he said
He stated that his name and personality were struggling for balance as he was not as rich as the name portrays stressing that all he had before going into Big Brother House was N370 in his bank accounts.
He said: “The name was making wave but the person behind the name was going through alot of depression and pains and I was not moving forward as fast as the name was. So getting the name, coming to this platform and winning the show that I did not expect to win, merge with me and now I can fully answer White Money. Before going into the house, I had N70 in bank Guarantee Trust bnal account and N300 in my Zenith bank.”
Speaking of his survival tactics within the 72 days in the House without eviction, Ikechukwu Sunday also known as Cross said he never had a plan but relied on the Holy Spirit to instruct and guide him throughout the period.
Cross said: “I don’t have a strategy going into the house because I knew that if you have a strategy going into the house, you will definitely end up hitting a road block. My family told me to have a strategy but after a while I said, Cross, just take control and Let the Holy Spirit tell me how to be.”
