A Nigerian man recently shared his personal experience where artisans asked him to pay them with food stuffs instead of cash.
According to him, a woman who worked for him requested to be paid in raw rice instead of cash.
This was not the only instance as a plumber who worked for him also asked for raw rice as payment after completing the job he was called for.

The twitter user did not explain what the woman did for him or the measurement for the rice she asked for and the same thing goes for his plumber

Reactions as Nigerian breweries reveals price hike amidst economic challenges
Nigerian breweries has decided to also increase the prices of beers in the country leaving many groaning in frustration.
This decision is coming following the country’s economic situation, and was shared through a letter dates August 1st, 2023.
It was also reported that the prices of the drinks will increase starting from Thursday 10th of August, 2023.
