Popular Yoruba actress, Jumoke Odetola, has expressed her concerns about the challenges of Lagos constant traffic.

In a recent social media post, Jumoke recounted her traumatic experience in typical Lagos traffic, which she described as “shege vs shege banza.”

According to the actress, she left work at 4 pm that day at Ajah , but did not get home in Magodo until 2 am after spending over 10 hours in traffic.

Actress Spends 10 hrs in traffic 

Jumoke explained that the time she has lost could have been put into productive work or relaxation. 

She also talked about the traffic situation on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, which she said is already “marking the attendance of wickedness.”

In order for her to avoid the hectic traffic, Jumoke revealed her plan to be sleeping at home instead.

Police arrest traffic robber, two others

Officials of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on Friday evening arrested a suspected traffic robber, Ayobami Peters, 18, close to Otedola Bridge, Ojodu – Berger.

He was nabbed when he led some of his gang members to forcefully obtain money from the driver of a truck which had broken down on the descending slope of Ojodu – Berger into Ojota.

The driver, accompanied by a technician, was working on the truck when the gang got to the scene. The driver and technician, who suffered harassment and were held hostage by the dagger-wielding Ayobami, got reprieve when patrolling RRS team got to the scene.
