In June, Nollywood screen diva Ini Dima-Okojie wedded her heartthrob, the founder of 54Gene, Abasi Ene-Obong. The lovebirds had earlier, on May 19, 2020, said “I do” in their intimate civil union with friends and family. The couple had their traditional wedding on May 21, 2022.

In November, Popular Nollywood actress Rita Dominic wedded Fidelis Anosike at Selby Abbey, North Yorkshire, England, on Saturday. But before then the couple had their traditional marriage in Imo state in a lavish ceremony graced by friends, relatives and fans.

On September 22, Popular rapper Jude Lemfani Abaga, better known by his stage MI Abaga married his love Eniola Mafe in a public ceremony held in Lagos.
