Allison Ibraheem, a Nigerian-based Arsenal fan has shown excitement over his club’s new interest Leandro Trossard.
Ibraheem said the Brighton striker will be a better signing than Mykhailo Mudryk who slipped out of the Gunners’ hands despite months of struggling to sign the Ukrainian international.
The Nigerian fan said Trossard is more experienced in the Premier League, hence, he would fit in immediately.
“Trossard to Arsenal would be a better signing than Mudryk because while the latter is a good prospect, the former is experienced in the EPL, good on both feet, and he is an incredible finisher and can play in the Arsenal system,” he said.
The Arsenal fan explained that buying Mudryk was a huge gamble and it may not pay off.
“We don’t know if Mudryk will hit the ground running and Arsenal need a player that can make an immediate impact,” he added.
After missing out on Mudryk and Joao Felix, Arteta’s side are not so confident that Trossard will come through but they are hopeful.
The premier league current leaders are hoping to complete the signing of the forward before the end of the week.
