The Catalans, according to a report by Mundo Depotivo, are interested in signing Kylian Mbappe in January.
In what appears to be a shocking move, the Spanish outlet has stated that Barcelona wants the PSG star.
Barcelona are fully stacked in front with Robert Lewandowski leading the perk. It is unnatural to see how a team with that countless quality in front will eye another.
But then looking closely you will understand that it is habitual for clubs in the world of football.
Even with Neymar and Mbappe in PSG, the French side were among the first to show interest in signing Lionel Messi. They eventually did.
Can Barcelona Sign Kylian Mbappe?
IkejaBird gathered that Barcelona had reported a debt of a billion dollars some months ago yet signed many players before the start of the season.
Thereafter, they asked several players to reduce their wages to save the club.
Eyeing a player like the French star requires a lot of financial capacity not just to buy but to keep and maintain.
Barcelona are currently not the favourite to sign Mbappe financial-wise. They also do not interest the player. Kylian Mbappe has never indicated he would like a move to Barcelona.
Recall that Real Madrid attempted to sign Mbappe last season but failed due to his club’s commitment to keep him. Mbappe has always shown interest in playing for Real Madrid which he said is his childhood dream.
