The Australian coach has had an amazing start in the Premier League, setting a new record. Ange Postecoglou’s impressive beginning in the Premier League has made history for the Tottenham manager as he secured consecutive Manager of the Month awards.
Postecoglou was named Premier League Manager of the Month in his first month at Tottenham, following a perfect start to the 2023/24 football season, and he’s done it again in his second month at the club.
This achievement makes him the first manager in Premier League history to win Manager of the Month awards in his first two months in the league. No other manager has come close to accomplishing this feat, with only a few coaches ever receiving multiple awards in the same season.

Tottenham’s performance under Postecoglou
Tottenham, under the leadership of the Australian boss, Postecoglou, is flourishing in the Premier League. He beat competition from other top managers, including Mikel Arteta of Arsenal, Unai Emery of Aston Villa, Eddie Howe of Newcastle, and Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool, to win the Manager of the Month award for September.
Postecoglou led his Spurs side to three wins and four draws in the month of September, remaining undefeated in the football league. As a result, Tottenham, under Postecoglou’s guidance, is currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table based on goal difference, having secured six wins in their first eight matches.
This is a remarkable accomplishment, and Postecoglou is also the first Australian in the history of the Premier League to achieve this award.
