Famous Nigerian musician, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko professionally known as Simi clapped back at a social media user who accused her husband and colleague, Adekunle Gold of copying singer Burna Boy’s style.
Isreal Adesayan, a boxer shared a picture of himself with the ‘High’ crooner on the microblogging platform, Twitter where he captioned as “Dem area boys.”
However, a Twitter user identified as @bennygg quickly reacted to the post by asserting that Adekunle Gold copies Burna boy fashion style and mannerisms.
According to him, it has been going on for a long time and now needs to be discussed. The user went as far as analyzing Adekunle’s picture by stating that he wore the same glass, smile, and poses as Burna Boy.

He added that it is not a coincidence that the singer is also linking up with Burna Boy’s friends and that he is annoyed that Adekunle Gold never admitted that he’s copying the ‘last last’ crooner. The user backed his claims with pictures of Adekunle and Burna Boy wearing the same clothes.
“The Burna Boy plagiarism is really so obvious and very annoying at this point. Man can’t you just be yourself? same posture, same glasses, same smile. wtf ?! it’s been going on for a while now and we need to speak on it,” @bennygg said.
The user’s comment quickly generated reactions from other netizens and Simi was one of those who responded to his words. In reaction to the netizen’s assertion, Simi stated that people who have good things going on in their lives wouldn’t have the time to make such an assertion.
