An avid fan of well-loved and Grammy award-winning artiste, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun known as Wizkid has drawn a tattoo dedicated to the singer’s mother.

Ikejabird reported that Wizkid lost his mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun on Friday, August 18, 2023, following this many fans of the singer has expressed their condolences.

However, a fan took it up a notch after he tattooed the date Wizkid’s mum died on his thighs to pay tribute to the late woman and to also show support for the singer in his trying times.

The picture was captured with a caption that read “Dedicated to Wizkid’s mom, Mrs J.M Balogun.”

You have made your mother proud: Davido sends condolences to Wizkid after his mom’s passing

Meanwhile, popular Afrobeat sensation David Adeleke, known as Davido, paid a touching tribute to his colleague Wizkid, who recently lost his mother. 

The emotional message was delivered during Davido’s performance at the AfroNation Festival in Detroit, an event that Wizkid was also scheduled to perform at.

Davido also shared his heartfelt support and condolences with Wizkid as he mourned the passing of his mother.
