Following an electrifying first album which topped the charts for months last year, Asake opens the year with a trailblazing and funky jam titled ‘Yoga’ which is sure to climb the charts very soon.
Asake appeared to have hacked the music system with his sound which has managed to stand out even when you know there will be an element of house and amapiano on every song, even at that, he still manages to please your ears.
Yoga manages to achieve in its experimental form two things: unity and grandeur.
Asake is so confident in his sound that he can choose to start with a language so unfamiliar to many Nigerians and still keep his rhythm and audience glued.
