The popular Nigerian actress Funke Akindele currently has two of the most grossed films in Nigeria according to Wikipedia.
Funke’s Battle on Buka Street which was released three weeks ago is currently the second most grossed motion picture in Nigeria, Wikipedia confirms.
Since its release it has raked N480 million and the movie is still waxing strong on viewers choices.
It is also the fastest film to reach that height according to TXT Magazine.
Funke Akindele’s Omo Ghetto which was released in 2020 still remains the most grossed movie with a domestic gains of N636 million naira.
It is expected that if Battle on Buka Street continues its impressive run, it may surpass Omo Ghetto in a few weeks to come.
Funke Akindele is currently the running mate of Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran also known as Jandor, the People’s Democratic Party’s Governorship candidate in Lagos.
