A Nigerian Muslim cleric has advised fraudsters well known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ boys in the country on how to spend their money gotten from their illegal activities.
In a short video that was posted by one Dauda Abdullahi, an imam was captured giving a lecture at an event.
However, his words had many dropping their jaws, giving an extensive lecture, the cleric advised ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ boys to not use all their money gotten from their fraudulent activities to lodge in a hotel.
Instead, using $50 which he noted to be N40k in Nigerian, as an example, the cleric stated that out of the N40k, N30k should be spent on Sobun (Islamic rites).
He added that N3k should be used on data subscription, N1k should be used for giving alms and the remaining N6k should be used for the upkeep of the fraudster until the Sobun works again for him and he sees another money.
