In the latest episode of her podcast, TokeMoments, popular Nollywood actress Toke Makinwa made a thought-provoking assertion that men don’t like nice women.
During the podcast, Makinwa discussed the idea that when women are overly nice, men often take advantage of them, perceiving them as gullible or easily manipulated.
Her guest on the show, skit maker Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, offered a different perspective, suggesting that men appreciate being reminded of their responsibilities.

Kiekie’s husband is different
Kiekie shared a personal example of her husband forgetting to take their child to daycare and she explained that by gently reminding him, he eventually incorporated the task into his routine.
Toke, however, countered that Kiekie’s husband might be an exception and that most men do not respond positively to such reminders.
Some listeners agree with her perspective, citing instances where being too nice has led to being taken for granted.
Others argue that it is unfair to generalize men’s preferences based on individual experiences.

Meanwhile, Nigerian radio personality and television host Toke Makinwa opened up about her devastating experience following her husband’s infidelity.
In a chat with a co-host in the latest episode of her Youtube vlog series, the socialite shared with the world how she found out her ex-husband was cheating and how she dealt with life following his adultery.
It is noteworthy that Toke called off her wedding with her husband in 2016 when she filed for divorce over his infidelity in their marriage.
