A lady has reportedly committed suicide after her fiancé passed away few days to their wedding.

The lady, Haneefah Ummu, was set to marry Taofeeq Abu Amaar on October 22nd. Unfortunately, he passed away, leading to the cancellation of the wedding.

Tragically, Haneefah couldn’t bear the loss of her fiancé and reportedly took her own life. According to her sister, she left a note behind.

She disclosed, “My sister lost her Emaan and do the worst for us. We woke up this morning and found my sis dead. She committed suicide wallahi. My sister has ruined her qiyaamah her self. She slept with dad soundly yesterday night and we don’t know how.”

Husband of woman who attempted to commit suicide after broken relationship shares side of his story

In other news, Farida Sobowale, a Lagos State socialite made headlines sometime last week after she attempted to commit suicide because her husband whom she married a few weeks ago decided to call off their relationship.

Ikejabird reported that the mother of three attempted to end her life when she tried diving into the lagoon in the extension of the Third Mainland Bridge.

Following this, the woman who is an entrepreneur apologized to her children, however, it came as a shock when her ex-husband, Demola Okulaja shared his side of the story.
