Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has once again sympathised with the family of Monsurat Ojuade who was shot on 11th September, 2021 by a police officer attached to the Panti Division during a raid at Ijeshatedo area, Surulere.
Lagos State Police Spokesperson, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu in a statement released on Friday said, the Commissioner of Police has fulfilled his promise of dismissing Sgt Samuel Philipps and he will be charged to court today for murder.
Recall that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, had promised that the matter would be properly investigated and that justice would be served.
Ajisebutu said that Sgt Philipps was dismissed after conclusion of his orderly room trial.
