As residents protest over the killing of 30 persons in Yelwa Zangam village, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, youths have stormed the State Government House of Simon Bako Lalong with corpses for failing to wade in actively to the killings.
According to report, youths evacuated corpses of victims deposited at the Plateau Specialist Hospital into vans to the State House of Assembly where the corpses were laid.
Meanwhile, the state government has reinstated the 24-hour curfew earlier relaxed in Jos North Local Government Area following the rising tension in the area.
It was gathered that the gunmen stormed the community with sophisticated weapons around 10 pm on Tuesday night and killed the victims while several others who sustained injuries during the attack were rushed to the hospital.
The renewed attack has been linked to several groups, Fulani herdsmen, Muslims and Christian fracas.
