Nigerian actor Uche Maduagwu recently revealed a shocking incident where he was approached by a group of individuals on September 15.
They made a startling offer of 3 million naira to him, tempting him to participate in a scheme to spread a false narrative.
Specifically, they wanted him to falsely claim that Mohbad’s wife was somehow involved in her husband’s demise and to promote a fabricated story about her undergoing a DNA test.

Uche turned down the offer
Uche Maduagwu, however, swiftly turned down this dubious proposition. He explained that he had no personal connection to the late Mohbad, being neither a friend nor a family member, and therefore had no grounds to make such damaging accusations against the singer’s wife.
He expressed his conviction that these same individuals who approached him with the offer of 3 million naira likely targeted other online personalities as well.
Their aim was to propagate this baseless narrative, painting Mohbad’s wife as a prime suspect and demanding a DNA test.
This revelation sheds light on the troubling manipulation of online narratives for personal gain and highlights the importance of discernment and integrity in the realm of social media and celebrity culture.
