Host Apologises For Sharing Fuel As Souvenirs

As fuel souvenirs sparks outrage, the Erelu Okin of Orile Kemta, Pearl Chidinma Ogbolu has tendered an apology for sharing kegs of fuel as souvenirs at her installation party in Lagos.

“I want to use this medium to apologise for the momentarily indiscretion of bringing fuel Souverniers into the hall.

“My intent was just to show appreciation to my guests for turning up at my event at these hard times.

“I have paused to reflect and truly apologize and I thank you all for your understanding and criticisms,”

“As ERELU OKIN, my mission is to beautify lives. I will continue to strive to be better and do better. Thank you.” Ms Ogbolu wrote in an Instagram post on Saturday, March 5.

The installation ceremony of Ms Ogbulu took place at the Havillah Event Place, Oniru in Lagos

The Lagos state government has shut down the event centre in Oniru and Lagos police ordered the arrest of those involved.
