Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has asked supporters of opposition parties to be sensible and embrace President Tinubu’s administration.

Recall that on Wednesday, the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) rejected the petitions filed by Peter Obi of the Labor Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Obi and Atiku had filed a petition to nullify President Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election.

However, the tribunal ruled that they were unable to present substantial evidence against President Tinubu.

Taking to Twitter, Keyamo congratulated President Tinubu.

He wrote, “Today, Daniel has come to judgment: whether it is the fake US drug issue or the 25% FCT issue or the issue of IREV, every single thing some of us have always shouted ourselves hoarse about during the campaigns and post-campaigns have been proved absolutely right.

“It only reassures some of us to always stand up for what we believe in, even if it appears to be against the temporary tide! Eventually, posterity will always vindicate the just!

“Huge congratulations to @officialABAT for this judicial vindication from all the wicked lies against his person. Now, it is time for them to have some sense and embrace his government and national reconciliation!”

I’m sorry- Keyamo apologises to Senate

Meanwhile, Former Minister of State for Labour and Employment and ministerial nominee Festus Keyamo, SAN, apologized to the Senate on Monday for what was perceived as a lack of respect towards the ninth Assembly.

He clarified that he had previously apologized to Senator Godiya Akwashiki, the Senate committee chairman on Labour, employment, and Productivity, and his counterpart in the House of Representatives during the ninth Senate.

The proceedings went on after he apologized to the Senate.
