Manchester City prepares to take on United on Saturday in what is already a highly anticipated derby for many football lovers.
Pep Guardiola has told reporters that he is working on a ridiculous formation that will take three points away from the Red Devils.
The Man City coach also disclosed that he had not watched Manchester United’s previous home games in order to understand their setup and tactical strength.
“I have a few ideas, thoughts – ridiculous ones against United – but still I didn’t watch their last games,” Guardiola told reporters,” he said.
“I have to see the way they play at home and if they change something. I still have to review it; that is why I don’t have a clear lineup [yet] against United,” he added.
Ten Hag’s side is currently having the best run after winning their last five matches.
The manager has shown that allowing one of his star players, Cristiano Ronaldo, to leave was a good gamble.
Currently fourth on the premier league table, Manchester United will hope to grab a win on January 14 to further solidify their territory.
