Nigerians are expressing their outrage online over the recent arrest of 72 Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) students by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The agency conducted a surprise raid on two major off-campus hostels in Ile-Ife, Osun State, taking the students and their vehicles to the EFCC’s Ibadan office.
OAU’s Students’ Union President, Akinremi Abass, has confirmed the incident, and the student leadership is en route to Ibadan to gather more information.
