Four PSG Players banned for Anti-Gay chants after Marseille win

Four players from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have been banned for their involvement in Anti-Gay chants following a victory against Marseille.

The players are Randal Kolo Muani, Ousmane Dembele, Achraf Hakimi, and Layvin Kurzawa. They sang offensive chants alongside PSG Ultras fans and used abusive language during the celebration.

As a result, they are suspended from playing one league match, with a second match ban hanging over them.

They also closed a part of the stadium

Additionally, a section of PSG’s Parc Des Princes stadium, the Auteuil stand, will be closed for two games, one of which is suspended.

This means fans won’t be allowed in that part of the stadium starting from October 10.

In response, PSG expressed regret at what they consider an excessive and collective punishment, which they believe could undermine their efforts to promote dialogue and prevention with associations, institutions, and fans.
