After living in the US for 25 years, a couple has made the decision to go back to their homeland, Nigeria.
The lovely couple, which have been together for 62 years were celebrated immensely by their children and grandchildren.
Their granddaughter, Nneoma shared a video on TikTok portraying the lives of her grandparents and how much they were going to be missed.

Though aged, both parents had left unforgettable memories in the hearts of their children and grandchildren.
Nneoma recounted how her grandparents shuttled between Nigeria and the US, and took care of her and her siblings when her parents were at work.
Going back to Nigeria
Few months before their departure, a surprise send-off party was thrown for the couple in America.
In the video, the hearty couple was seen dancing, seated with their children spraying them money, having a photoshoot with their children, being fed at the airport and then finally wheeled off.
“No one prepares you for the feeling of growing up and seeing the people you love grow older too. I’m going to miss them,” she captioned the heart melting video.
Family members were emotional as each one said their goodbyes to the couple at the airport.
Social media reactions captured those who praised and blessed the couple, while others expressed concern about how the aged parents will cope in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, a Twitter user shared his candid opinion on polygamy and polyandry, having experienced its effect firsthand from his grandmother life.
A Twitter user @Ay_bkini posted on his Twitter page, some hilarious but troublesome facts about his grandmother.
In his tweet, he emphasized the need to stay as far from polyandry as possible as it can only lead to trouble.
