A Nigerian teenager has been offered an internship opportunity with Apple for four months.

According to Tarleton News, Ifechukwudeni Oweh who is 16-year-old and from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, has just been offered an opportunity of a lifetime.

He was offered a four-month internship with Apple, one of the largest and most innovative technology companies in the world.

Ifeanyi, also known as Teddy, will be working in software engineering, with Apple’s wireless technologies and ecosystem team.

During this internship, he will be analyzing data from Apple devices in order to improve embedded artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.

Teddy’s walk to greatness

The brilliant Ifeanyi  graduated from Chokhmah International Academy in Port Harcourt at the age of 14, after which he moved to the United States to pursue his bachelor’s degree.

In the words of Rafael Landaeta, the dean of the College of Engineering at Tarleton University, “This is a huge achievement for Teddy and it confirms that Tarleton’s engineering programs are among the best in the nation.”

It’s worth noting that this internship is the first of its kind for the university since its founding in 1899.

Joy as 3 Nigerian kids enter Guinness World Record

Meanwhile, Against all odds, three brilliant Nigerian teenagers have made their ways to the prestigious Guinness World Records.

The trio of Chukwuebuka Ezugha, Victor Richard Kipo and Vincent Okezie was recognised by the Dubai-based world record-keeping organisation for “most consecutive passes of a football between the head and soles while balancing on the back of a person.”

Sharing the video on its verified Instagram account on Thursday, December 22, GWR said Chukwuebuka, Victor and Vincent completed “129 most consecutive passes of a football.” The feat has not been achieved by anyone or any group in the past.
