Willie Obiano, the immediate past Governor of Anambra State, was arrested on Thursday at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
This comes just a few hours after he handed over the reins to his successor, Prof. Charles Soludo.
Obiano, who was on the EFCC’s watch list, was apprehended while attempting to board a flight to the United States, IkejaBird learned.
