Following a World Cup upset in Qatar, Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo finally put a pen to paper for the Saudi Arabian league giants, Al Nassr FC, in a historical two-year deal that will make him earn more than any player in history.
Al Nassr announced the signing of the 37-year-old forward in a statement on Friday, December 30, describing it as “history in making.”

With the deal, Ronaldo’s salary will be close to €200m per year, though this will include a commercial deal according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The breakdown of the salary will see the former Juventus star earn a staggering €200M per year, more than any player in history.
Ronaldo will be earning €16.67M/month and €3.888M per week. A further breakdown shows that he will earn €555,555 per day, €23,150 per hour, €386 per minute and €6.5 per second.
