Body of Jonathan ex-aide’s brother recovered in Kwara forest

The dead body of a 56-year-old Onijala Adegboyega, who was abducted last week Friday in Olla in the Isin Local Government Area of the state have been recovered.

Adegboyega, a brother to Ambassador Olutola Onijala, an aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan was kidnapped by gunmen while returning from his farm.

According to a statement on Wednesday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ajayi Okasanmi said, the deceased might have died as a result of the severe injuries to his left hand inflicted on him by the kidnappers in the struggle to subdue him.

This is coming a week after gunmen storm a factory worker in the state and abducted seven workers including the owner of the factory, Fatimah Nurudeen in Sosoki village.
