Ukraine’s  TV tower attacked, broadcasts disrupted

The TV tower in Kiev, Ukraine’s capital,  was attacked  during Russia’s invasion of the city.

Dark cloud of smoke was seen swirling around the scene in a video sighted by IkejaBird.

The  tower, though still standing,was reportedly struck by two missiles.

 With the  attack,TV and radio broadcasts were disrupted.

There were no casualties as at the time of filing this report.

Russia had said  it would  attack the infrastructure  and facilities used by Ukrainian Intelligence Service SBU.

It was gathered that another air raid siren was heard in  the city on Tuesday afternoon.

Thus,  Mayor Vitali Klitschko described the situation as ‘threatening.’

He said:”The enemy wants to conquer the heart of our country. But we will fight and not give up Kiev.”
