The National President of Actors Guild of Nigerian, Emeka Rollas has yet again secured the release of Chiwetalu Agu from the custody of the Department of State Service (DSS).
Veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu, was rearrested by the DSS and flown to Abuja after being released by the Nigerian Army as part of investigations for promoting Biafra and allegedly inciting members of the public.
The actor was first arrested by the Nigerian Army on October 7, 2021, around Upper Iweka in Onitsha, Anambra State, for wearing a Biafra outfit.
Agu had stated that he was only putting on a dress with an image of rising sun and was arrested while distributing bread to the poor.
