Earlier, the counsel to the defendant as seek that the case be adjourned but was declined by justice Olwatoyin Taiwo following the plea from DPP that the counsel to the defendant is taking the court for granted as the case is a criminal case urging Justice Oluwatoyin to refuse a plea for adjournment.
Meanwhile, Justice Oluwatoyin has adjourned the trial to October 20 and 21 for further hearing.
Speaking to news men at the court premises, a movie producer in entourage of Baba Ijesha stated that the forensic reports could be fallacy while condemning the report of Baba Ijesha admitting to the sexual assault allegations.
He said: ” There is a form of fallacy which could also mean that the forensic report is fallacy but we wouldn’t conclude now since they told us that they have a video presentation to make. As of that we are going to judge between what is being said and what is on the video.”
Recall that the Nigerian actor was on June 16 arraigned before a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Yaba, Lagos State for alleged sexual assault and attempted rape of a minor.
