Popular Nigerian skit maker, Cute Abiola, is currently under investigation by the police following a controversial skit in which he appeared to be mocking the police uniform.
One netizen took to social media to share a surprising discovery about the cute Abiola case.
According to his tweet, he read out the section of the Constitution that the police claimed Cute Abiola violated during his skit.
Pay them the fine
To everyone’s surprise, the netizen pointed out that the fine for the alleged offense was just #40.
He humorously suggested that Cute Abiola should simply pay the fine to the police instead of being subjected to an investigation.
The tweet quickly gained attention and many Nigerians found it amusing, praising the netizen for his witty advice.
However, as of now, there have been no further updates on the police investigation.

In another news, Inibehe Effiong, a human rights lawyer, has defended the comedian and skit maker, Cute Abiola whose real name is Abdulgafar Ahmad for using a police uniform in his skit video.
Recall that Ikejabird reported that the NPF (Nigerian police force) is set to investigate and take legal action against the comedian over the use of a police uniform.
The public relations officer of the police force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi made this known in an official statement on Thursday.
