Inter Miami once again made a significant signing, this time bringing in another Barcelona legend, Jordi Alba, to join Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets in South Florida.
They signed Spain captain and former Barca star player on contract to end of 2024 season with club option for a further year
The announcement of Alba’s signing was made by the club on Thursday afternoon, just over 24 hours before Messi’s much-anticipated debut in the MLS Leagues Cup

Messi and Busquet’s debuts on Friday
Inter Miami, established in 2018, is aiming high despite currently having the worst record in the league.
They made headlines by securing seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi, who was unveiled to a packed crowd at DRV PNK Stadium on Sunday.
Alongside Messi, they also introduced Sergio Busquets, another Barcelona great, who recently joined the team in South Beach.
Both Messi and Busquets are expected to make their eagerly awaited debuts from the bench in Friday’s Leagues Cup clash against Mexican side Cruz Azul.
With these star signings, Inter Miami is making bold moves to strengthen their squad and compete at the highest level in MLS.

Chelsea striker Pierre Aubameyang agrees to join Olympique Marseille on a free transfer
In another news, According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Aubameyang is on the verge of joining Marseille on a free transfer.
Chelsea and the French club have agreed, and the former Arsenal striker is expected to sign a three-year contract.
If his medical goes smoothly, Aubameyang will be officially announced as a Marseille player later this week.
