After several failed IVF treatments, 52-year-old Luise Hoehn welcomed her first child Stellan, on Christmas Day.
Hoehn was 46 years old when she first tried for a baby. Many fertility clinics told her that she was too old to have a baby.
However, this did not discourage her, as she kept searching for a clinic that would help till she found one.
In an interview, she shared some details of how this came to be.

At 42, doctors advised her to opt for IVF and even given the option of freezing her eggs ahead of the IVF.
Hoehn didn’t understand how difficult conception would be, so she rejected the offer at the time.
At 46, she stopped menstruating and she was scared she was menopausal so she became open to trying other ways of conception.
Luise eventually found her perfect match for IVF
Luise underwent her first IVF treatment in March 2017. Unfortunately, it failed, as did two others after that.
She underwent her first embryo transplant in 2022, from a donor she described as a “Perfect match”, and thankfully, the pregnancy was smooth.
She delivered her first child, Stellan, at 35 weeks via cesarean, weighing 4 pounds,15 ounces.
When asked about how she and her husband (Dean Biele, 47 years old) were going to handle becoming parents considering their ages, she said,
“I am confident in what I can do and the choices we will make to raise this child.”
The excited couple revealed that they are not done having babies, as they are planning to have another baby before the end of the year.
