A young Ondo base gospel singer, Titilope Alonge, has urged children to develop and explore God’s given talent while calling on parents to support their champ.
Titilope who is on a short trip in Lagos to impact lives through her songs, stated that her parents’ support spiritually, financially and their encouragement has helped her succeed.
“I’ll advise people not to hide their talent because their talent is their pride and they are to impact lives through their talent. They have to shine their light to the world through it.”
In an interview with IkejaBird in Lagos, she revealed that she rose to stardom during COVID-19 lock down and recently released an album, titled, ‘I Am Blessed’.
“During COVID-19 lockdown I began singing online. Music is what I have passion for. I love singing alot. When I was a child I joined them in church and from there I began to develop myself” she said.
“People do look at me as a young person and sometimes they don’t give me opportunity. There are a lot of persecution because alot of my mates singing now are not into gospel songs. But I don’t allow that to affect me,” Titilope added.
Speaking on juggling academics with musical activities, she noted that although she is in SS3, she does not allow music affect her education as she has a schedule for everything.
Titilope’s future ambition is to touch as many lives as possible through her songs, feature Sola Alison and become a medical doctor.
