Social media users reacted significantly to a Nigerian woman’s advice to women, “Your femininity is your bragging right.”
This was consistent with her line of thinking, which held that even though women did not make financial contributions, their capacity for nurturing was something to be proud of.
She accompanied the tweet with a video of a woman caring for her children and added a caption to support her argument.
She wrote: “Dear women, even if you aren’t contributing financially, you aren’t useless. Your femininity is your bragging right, own it with PRIDE. It takes mental, physical, and extraordinary strength to be a nurturer. Money cannot replace it.”
Your femininity is your bragging right, be proud of it!
Her post received a lot of feedback from internet users, particularly women who shared her train of thinking.
