4 year old Ugandan chess grandmaster shows off skills

A young Ugandan boy who knew his chess game properly played confidently and skillfully against a renowned chess promoter.

Tunde Onakoya, a renowned Chess promoter, posted a video of a little boy displaying fantastic chess skills. 

According to Tunde, the boy’s skills were impressive and had to be nurtured.

He met the chess genius in the alums of Katwe Uganda and engaged him in a game of chess.

The boy was seen carefully thinking and confidently making moves on the chess board. One could see he knew his onions well.

According to Tunde “I met this 4 year old chess genius in the slums of Katwe Uganda. I won this time, but I’ll be no match for him in a couple of years.”

The rising star

Finally, Tunde revealed that an organization called “The gift of chess” has put the young genius on a lifelong scholarship to nurture the incredible African talent.

Meanwhile, a brilliant Nigerian Kid by the name Tanitoluwa Adewumi was declared the 28th youngest National Chess Master in the United States.

Tanioluwa accomplished this great feat after beating all other competitors to bag more than the required 2200 points.

Tanitoluwa and his parents arrived in the United States in 2017 and lived in a homeless shelter located in New York City, United States.
