Popular Television personality and Lagos Pastor, Kingsley Okonknow has once again left many talking after he stated that a 23 or 24-year-old man should be married.
He lectured that it wasn’t a big deal and that getting married at that age was not too young or too early and he in fact encourages it.
He defended that in Western countries an 18-year-old man was already making a living for himself without the help of his parents, however, in Nigeria a 28-year-old man was still under his parents, not even thinking of getting married.

Pastor Kingsley asserted that it was wrong and it made no sense, he argued that while young men in their early 20s were already making it in life and creating innovative things and ideas, Nigerian young men are busy doing whatnot, still under their parents ‘sucking breast.”
“I don’t know why a man should be above 23, 24 and not be married, I’m serious, your mate in the animal kingdom has grandchildren, your mate in developed countries by 18, they leave their parent’s house, that exposes them to responsibility quick.
“But in Nigeria, you can be 28 and you can still be sucking your mother’s breast, they are still sending you message, go and buy biscuit, go and buy sugar, at your age, your mate in Silicon Valley, at 18, 19, there are already billionaires, they are developing things that are changing the world,” he said.
