Wilfred Ndidi, a Nigerian football player, is doing really well in the English Championship league. He’s been playing great for Leicester City, even after they got relegated last season. 

On October 1, 2023, he played for Leicester City in a match against Blackburn Rovers, which they won 4-1.

Leicester scored their goals in the fourth, 28th, 82nd, and 88th minutes of the game, with players like Faes, Jamie Vardy, Iheanacho, and Kieran Dewsbury-Hall finding the net. Blackburn Rovers scored one goal in the eighth minute, but it was a consolation.

Ndidi wins EFL Player of the Match

After this win, Leicester City now sits at the top of the Championship standings with 24 points.

Ndidi played the entire 90-minute game and even assisted in Vardy’s second goal. Iheanacho came in as a substitute for Vardy in the 76th minute and scored from a penalty kick in the 82nd minute.

Wilfred Ndidi was named the EFL Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.

After the game, Jamie Vardy, a teammate of Ndidi, spoke in a friendly and informal way to him using Pidgin English, a Nigerian slang. Ndidi shared photos from the game on his social media and captioned it with “Sunday feeling,” expressing his happiness about the win.
