Joseph Akinwale well known as Joeboy, a popular Afrobeat singer has inspired people to not give up on their dreams as he shared his journey to success.
In the video that surfaced recently, the ‘Body and Soul’ crooner shared that there was a point in his life when he hit ‘rock bottom’ however he is now in a better place and a place where he couldn’t dream of at that moment.
“I’m like one of the biggest artistes in Africa, but there was one time I was rock bottom I had no money, I was so broke I had to close my account,” he said.

He urged anyone going through anything that they shouldn’t end it all because it was going to get better as he added that he was a living example of his words.
When asked how he knew he had made it in life, he explained that his first tour in East Africa was an eye-opener for him, because he saw how much people loved him and love his music as they sang along to the lyrics of his song.
The singer stressed that no one should give up on their dreams because he was sure they would achieve all they’ve always wanted one day.

In other news, Joeboy took to social media to give his followers relationship advice which garnered a lot of reactions.
Joeboy advised them to spoil their girlfriends, or someone else will spoil them. While some netizens agreed with his relationship advise, others did not agree with it.
He specifically wrote: “Spoil your babe before they spoil her for you.”
